  12. It's not that hard to set your news reader to download just the header or topic
  13. Why you feel you are FORCED to read anything is beyond me unless you are just not
  14. informed enough or bothered to read the documentation of or just have a really cheap newsreader
  15. when full featured ones are available for free.

  17. You do not have to download the whole newsgroup and if you are doing thaat at once to read it later
  18. then you get what you get..SPAMS often jump in there from people just tacking on "YEAH i see that"
  19. but i haven't read about you jumping up and down about that....Set you newsreader to download the headers
  20. then pick what you want. Keeps you from paying for what you don't want.
